Oh how we love stories. Thanks to all.

We had such a wonderful night at Tenx9. Thanks to all. The theme for the evening was suggested by Jan Carson, who has been leading so many amazing #positiveageingmonth events on behalf of Belfast City Council.

Thanks to Jan, Paul, Jason, Cath, Peter, Michael, Sarah and Seán. We had stories of the age of a man learning to dance; being mistaken for a 75 year old stripper when you're only 35; working with dignity in a facility for aged care; the way that men of all ages act on drunk holidays; being an 8 year old who is petrified of the scary neighbour; memories of embarrassing gigs when you were 18; unexpected home births that happen in the middle of the night; and that memorable 46 year old Tyrone woman who decided that, newly widowed, she'd become one of the few female undertakers in the North. Many many thanks. It was a fantastic night.

Next theme is "Home". Stories of the home you live in, the home you left, temporary homes, unexpected places where you've found home, seeking home when other homes are safe and making home with new people.
