Here's Jason telling us a story. "If I was to write a book it'd be called 'How to freak out a girl in 30 days or less'."

Here's Jason telling us a story. "If I was to write a book it'd be called 'How to freak out a girl in 30 days or less'."

Tenx9 tonight - thanks to all.

Well, what a wonderful night. We had stories of running marathons in Belfast; being told that you don't sound like you're from here (but you look Catholic!); first years in Belfast; cul de sacs in Belfast; finding new ways of living in Belfast after a break-up; moving to Belfast on a whim; growing up overnight when the colour was sucked out of the city; loving the city because of the person you love; and Tyronemen who can't hold their own in a Belfast fight.

It was a spectacular evening. We had 150 in the Black Box. Many thanks to Seán, Áine, Cara, Jason, Neil, Lorraine, Jayne and Aaron. Thanks, too, to the ever-generous folks of the Black Box, to the lovely Scottish mediators who chose to hold their conference so it'd overlap with a Tenx9 and Brian Spencer who did some deliciously witty caricature sketches while the night was going on.

Our next Tenx9 is on April 28th in the Black Box. The theme is 'We are Family' and it'll be hosted by the magnificent Moyra and Denise (pictured - oh so prettily creepy - here). Paul and Pádraig will be there, and are both curious and concerned at how the evening will go in the four hands of the winsome twinsome. Contact us if you want to tell a story.
