So, we are thrilled to have a Tenx9 at the Belfast Photography Festival this year. The theme is 'Snap' and it's at 7pm in the Sunflower Bar in Belfast. (On Union St, BT1 2JG)

If you're new to Tenx9, it's a monthly storytelling night where 9 people have up to 10 minutes each to tell a real story from their lives. Each month has a theme.

We started in 2011 and now regularly pack out the Black Box in our monthly events (we've had to turn people away after 200 people turn up). For the collaboration with the Photography Festival, we are thrilled to be in the Sunflower.

We've chosen "Snap" as the theme - if you have a photo that has a great story behind it, get in touch. (If you're a first time teller, we ask for a full text). You can then bring the photo and tell (or read) the story about that photo. You can send it in advance and we'll put it on a projector too. The story should tell a bit about the story behind the photograph - why you took it, what was happening. Just to reiterate, we're not looking for a story about the technical details of the composition of the photo - more the narrative of the real lives in (or out) of the photo.

Looking forward to the stories! If you're interested, have a look at the editorial guidelines and then get in touch
