On 28 April 2018, the village of Hillsborough Co Down got a flavour of tenx9 as part of the Festival of Literature and Ideas. We have three stories on the theme Village Life: Jacqui Kerr on a much-missed neighbour; Maureen Boyle looking out from her village to the world; Jan Carson on the poshest village in England with Paul Doran hosting.

Love was in the air, love was all around, love was all you needed in the Black Box on 25 April 2018: Lisa Albrecht got her mother a date; Paul Bond was torn between the Holy Fathers and his true love; Helen Killick had a honeymoon nightmare featuring lentils.....loads and loads of lentils and Paul had to make an apology, anyone can make a mistake.

We took tenx9 to Corrymeela for its Easter celebration - Carafest. The theme was Scundered and here's Elsie Porter with her story dating back some 65 years.

Three stories, three storytellers & three hosts on 28 March: Padraig & Paul are joined by Michael McRay, the tenx9 Nashville host, to introduce Peter Anderson, Nuala McKeever and, yes, him again, Michael McRay (well, he had come all the way from Tennessee).
The theme was Foreign, the date was August 2017 and the person with the story was Malachi O'Doherty with a tale from North Africa.

Two stories from our usual Wednesday evening get-together when every seat was taken despite the Beast from the East and the sub-zero temperatures. Outside was freezing - inside was warm as always: enjoy Paul Bond and Doris Gentemann.
